When you come to my practice for the first time, I want to get to know you first and build trust.
I usually do not have to examine you on your first visit. You are welcome to bring a confidant with you.
We can discuss all the questions you have about your physical development and the changes through puberty.
Common topics are e.g. problems around the menstrual period. This can be very strong and stressful for some girls. For other girls the period sometimes does not come at all or only very irregularly.
Many girls also suffer from bad skin or acne. Sometimes, it is necessary to work together with a dermatologist and improve the skinby prescribing the pill.
We can also discuss questions around sexual hygiene, information on venereal diseases or prevention.
Also very important is the advice on the appropriate contraceptive methods, if this is an issue for you as well as HPV vaccine against cervical cancer.
